- Resintech Berhad is a Malaysia-based investment holding company that specializes in the innovation, design, manufacture, marketing, and distribution of a diversified portfolio of plastic piping systems, water storage tanks, and related building materials for infrastructure, construction, civil engineering, and agricultural applications. The company operates primarily through three business segments: Manufacturing and Trading, Services, and Investment Holding.
The company manufactures and markets an extensive array of plastic and polymer products, which includes high-density polyethylene (HDPE) solid-wall pipes, PE100 and PE80 pipe systems, and unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (uPVC) pressure and non-pressure pipes for potable water distribution, irrigation, and telecommunications ducting; HDPE double-wall and triple-wall corrugated pipes, sub-soil drainage systems, and structured-wall pipes for sewerage and storm water management; electrofusion fittings, butt-fusion fittings, and thermoweld joints marketed under the proprietary FIMAS brand; rotational-molded polyethylene water storage tanks, rainwater harvesting systems, industrial chemical vessels, and cylindrical septic tanks under the Resintech brand; and auxiliary infrastructure hardware, including uPVC rain gutters, road safety barriers, traffic management accessories, and customized industrial polyethylene fabrications. Through its principal operating subsidiaries, such as Resintech Plastics (M) Sdn. Bhd., Resintech Products Marketing Sdn. Bhd., and Resintech Plastics (Sarawak) Sdn. Bhd., the group supplies municipal water authorities, utility boards, civil contractors, telecommunications providers, and commercial developers across Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, and Sarawak, while exporting to regional markets across Southeast Asia, including Cambodia, Indonesia, and Singapore.
In recent developments, Resintech Berhad has pursued strategic alliances, regional expansion, and operational diversification. The company formalized a joint venture with SEDC Energy Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary of the Sarawak Economic Development Corporation, establishing Johan Intan Sdn. Bhd. with a 60% controlling equity interest to market industrial plastics and participate in state infrastructure and sustainable energy projects in Sarawak. In adjacent commercial operations, its subsidiary Johan Panglima (M) Sdn. Bhd. entered into a strategic collaboration with CNH Group Sdn. Bhd. to develop an 11.4-acre mixed-use project featuring centralized worker accommodations, canteen facilities, and commercial retail units in Telok Panglima Garang, subsequently securing a RM41 million Islamic financing facility from Alliance Islamic Bank Berhad to fund land redemption and construction. The group has also strengthened its regional export presence by securing major municipal supply contracts, including the supply and delivery of HDPE pipes and specialized fittings to the Phnom Penh Water Supply Authority in Cambodia.
Founded in 1977, Resintech Berhad is headquartered in Telok Panglima Garang, Selangor, Malaysia.
