Business
Safetyware Group Berhad is an integrated occupational safety and health solutions provider and investment holding company based in Malaysia. The company operates through three principal business segments: Manufacturing, Trading and Distribution, and Services and Solutions. Safetyware designs, manufactures, distributes, and exports a comprehensive range of personal protective equipment and workplace safety products. Its core product portfolio encompasses safety footwear, including safety shoes, boots, and occupational footwear marketed under the proprietary RHINO SHOE brand; personal protective equipment, such as industrial hand protection, safety eyewear, hearing protection, fall protection systems, chemical protective suits, flame-retardant workwear, and high-visibility apparel under the Safetyware and RedHippo brands; hygiene and respiratory protection products, including disposable face masks, particulate respirators, and sanitizing solutions under the Cleanware brand; safety signage, industrial visual communications, pipe markers, and lockout/tagout systems under the QuickSign brand; and workplace safety and environmental protection equipment, such as spill containment kits, flammable storage cabinets, emergency shower and eyewash stations, gas detection instruments, and traffic safety systems. In addition to manufacturing its proprietary brands, the group distributes more than 3,000 safety products sourced from over 100 international manufacturers. Through its services division, the group provides Environmental, Health, and Safety consultancy, accredited safety training programs, enterprise digital safety management systems, and specialized equipment servicing, including gas detector calibration, self-contained breathing apparatus inspection, and safety equipment rental. The company serves a diverse commercial and industrial client base across various sectors, including manufacturing, oil and gas, construction, petrochemical, logistics, healthcare, utilities, and hospitality. Safetyware Group operates manufacturing facilities and distribution centers across Malaysia, maintaining regional sales and distribution subsidiaries in Singapore, Australia, and Thailand, while exporting products to more than 35 countries across the Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East. Key operational subsidiaries include Safetyware Sdn. Bhd., Quicksign Sdn. Bhd., Safetyware EHS Consultancy Sdn. Bhd., Safetyware (SG) Pte. Ltd., and Safetyware Australia Pty. Ltd. Founded in 2003, Safetyware Group Berhad is headquartered in Simpang Ampat, Penang, Malaysia, and is listed on the LEAP Market of Bursa Malaysia under the ticker SAFETY. In recent developments, Safetyware Group Berhad has advanced strategic corporate and operational initiatives to strengthen its market position following its initial public offering on the LEAP Market of Bursa Malaysia. To accelerate digital transformation and expand its proprietary safety enterprise software offerings, the group established Keyway Digital Labs Sdn. Bhd. as a specialized digital solutions subsidiary, while streamlining its corporate structure through the rationalization and striking off of non-core entities. The company has also expanded its manufacturing capacities in safety footwear and protective apparel, enhanced automation across its Malaysian production facilities, and broadened its international distribution partnerships to capture growing regional demand for occupational safety compliance and workplace health solutions across Southeast Asia and Australasia.
