- Sik Cheong Berhad is a Malaysia-based investment holding company primarily engaged in the repackaging, marketing, distribution, and wholesale of refined, bleached, and deodorized (RBD) palm olein edible oils and related food products. The company operates through its wholly-owned subsidiaries, Sik Cheong Edible Oil Sdn Bhd and Sin Cheong Sales & Marketing Sdn Bhd, serving commercial customers across the retail, wholesale, food manufacturing, and food service sectors. Its core product and service portfolio comprises RBD palm olein cooking oil marketed under the proprietary brands Sawit Emas and Vitamas; RBD palm olein lamp oil formulated for cultural, prayer, and religious purposes distributed under the proprietary brand Pingat Emas; unbranded bulk edible oils; third-party food commodities and ingredients, including commercial margarine distributed under brands such as Adela, Pelangi, and Bunga Emas; and contract and customized packaging solutions delivered in intermediate bulk containers (IBCs), tin cans, jerrycans, polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles, and polybags. The company serves more than 500 commercial clients, including hotels, restaurants, catering operators, grocery retailers, food distributors, and industrial food processing enterprises. Established as a partnership business in 1967 and incorporated as a public entity in 2023, Sik Cheong Berhad is headquartered in Ampang, Selangor, Malaysia. In recent corporate developments, Sik Cheong Berhad completed its initial public offering and listed on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia in August 2024. Following the listing, the company initiated a strategic diversification plan to expand into the high oleic soybean oil segment, broadening its product portfolio beyond palm olein products. The company is also executing an infrastructure expansion to reconstruct and upgrade its packaging facility, Factory No. 9, into a three-storey facility that expands operational capacity by approximately 88 percent, while investing in new machinery and expanding its delivery fleet to extend distribution beyond its core markets of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor into Perak, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, and Pahang.
