Business
ES Sunlogy Berhad is a Malaysia-based investment holding company specializing in the provision of mechanical and electrical (M&E) engineering services and renewable energy generation. Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Bukit Mertajam, Penang, Malaysia, the company operates across Peninsular Malaysia primarily through its operating subsidiaries, including Savelite Engineering Sdn. Bhd., Selarong Pertama Energy Sdn. Bhd., and Energy ES Sdn. Bhd. The group holds a CIDB Grade G7 contractor registration, enabling it to execute large-scale engineering, building services, and energy infrastructure projects of unlimited financial value for industrial, commercial, residential, and institutional clients. The company organizes its business operations into two core segments: M&E Engineering Works and Sales of Renewable Energy. Its comprehensive portfolio of products, services, and engineering solutions includes: electrical engineering services, encompassing high-voltage, medium-voltage, and low-voltage electrical distribution networks, electrical substations, transformers, switchboards, power distribution cabling, and interior and exterior architectural lighting systems; mechanical engineering services, comprising heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems, cleanroom installations, fire protection and suppression systems, mechanical smoke extraction, and sanitary and plumbing piping; extra-low voltage (ELV) and specialized engineering systems, including security access controls, closed-circuit television (CCTV) surveillance, telecommunications infrastructure, data cabling, lightning protection, and earthing networks; full lifecycle project planning and engineering procurement, covering system design integration, equipment procurement, subcontractor supervision, quality assurance, statutory compliance approvals, testing, and commissioning; and renewable energy solutions, including the engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) of solar photovoltaic (PV) facilities, solar asset maintenance, and the commercial generation and supply of clean electricity from solar PV power plants. In recent corporate developments, ES Sunlogy Berhad completed its initial public offering (IPO) and listed on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia under the stock code SUNLOGY in February 2025, raising RM42.0 million to finance the development and construction of the Selarong Large-Scale Solar Photovoltaic (LSSPV) plant in Kedah, retire bank borrowings, implement enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and support working capital reserves. In July 2026, Kerjaya Prospek Group Berhad became a strategic shareholder in ES Sunlogy through a private placement of 70 million shares valued at RM18.76 million, subsequently increasing its equity stake to strengthen project execution partnerships in major building and infrastructure projects. The group has also expanded its order book through new contract wins across Malaysia, including a RM12.71 million substation facility project awarded by Tenaga Nasional Berhad in Selangor and a RM15.63 million subcontract for electrical installation works on a serviced apartment development in Johor.
