To strengthen its construction capabilities and order book replenishment, the Company completed the strategic acquisition of Pembinaan Teguh Maju Sdn Bhd, substantially augmenting its engineering capacity, specialized technical workforce, and eligibility for large-scale government infrastructure tenders. Furthermore, Varia Berhad has expanded its operational scope into sustainable infrastructure and renewable energy, securing contracts for engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) of solar photovoltaic projects, while aggressively expanding its portfolio of public infrastructure, river basin conservation, and flood alleviation contracts across Peninsular Malaysia.
