- Gamedust S.A. is a Poland-based video game developer and publisher specializing in virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and cross-platform interactive entertainment software. The company operates primarily within the interactive entertainment and software publishing industry, delivering immersive video game titles for consumer markets worldwide across major digital storefronts, including Valve Steam, Meta Quest Store, Sony PlayStation VR and PlayStation VR2, HTC Viveport, Pico Interactive, and Nintendo eShop. Gamedust S.A. organizes its operations around proprietary game production, external publishing, and technical adaptation services. The company's core product and service portfolio comprises: the development of proprietary VR action-platforming titles, including Yupitergrad and its sequel Yupitergrad 2: The Lost Station; spatial puzzle and strategy video games, such as Neverout, Spuds Unearthed, and Overflight; cross-platform vehicle simulation and arcade racing games, including Best Forklift Operator and Sunrise GP; virtual reality escape-room anthologies, including Rooms of Realities; multi-platform porting and hardware optimization services designed to convert traditional PC and console games into VR-compatible formats; and third-party game publishing, production support, and international distribution services for independent development studios.
Originally established in 2015 as the dedicated virtual reality division of the software house Setapp and spun off as an independent studio in 2017, the company achieved its public corporate structure via a reverse merger with Inwestycje.pl S.A. (originally incorporated in 2008) before officially rebranding as Gamedust S.A. in August 2021. Headquartered in Poznan, Poland, Gamedust S.A. caters to global gaming audiences across North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region. Corporate operations have also included dedicated project subsidiaries, such as Bluekey sp. z o.o., formed to develop collaborative virtual reality projects under the Connected Realities initiative.
In recent operational developments, Gamedust S.A. adopted a multi-year development strategy focused on commercializing its core intellectual property, broadening third-party publishing agreements, and expanding distribution channels across new VR hardware generations. However, the company subsequently faced significant operational and financial disruptions, including the termination of key commercial agreements, such as Bluekey sp. z o.o.'s termination of the distribution agreement for Rooms of Realities, alongside the termination of its authorized advisory relationship. In January 2026, amid severe liquidity pressures, a sharp contraction in operating revenues, and managerial deadlocks, the management board of Gamedust S.A. formally filed a petition for corporate bankruptcy. Consequently, in February 2026, the Warsaw Stock Exchange suspended trading of Gamedust S.A. shares on the NewConnect alternative trading market pending the resolution of regulatory and corporate representation requirements.
