- Grupa Recykl S.A. is a Poland-based waste management and environmental technology company specializing in the collection, recovery, and recycling of post-consumer tires and rubber materials. The company operates across multiple specialized business divisions, manufacturing value-added recycled rubber products and providing environmental compliance and logistics services. Its primary manufactured products include rubber granulates marketed under the SBR Green Gran and SBR Green Gran Plus brands, utilized in athletic surfaces, artificial turf infill, playgrounds, and technical rubber goods; micronized rubber powders under the Green Powder brand, applied in industrial elastomers and compound manufacturing; SMAPOL, a patented reinforcing and stabilizing additive derived from recycled tire fibers for stone mastic asphalt and mineral-asphalt mixtures in road infrastructure; tire-derived fuels, including rubber chips and combustible fractions supplied as high-calorific alternative fuels for the cement manufacturing sector; recovered high-grade steel cord for metallurgical recycling; and recycled textile fluff, rubber mats, paving slabs, and molded acoustic insulation components. The company's service portfolio comprises comprehensive end-of-life tire recovery and material recycling; statutory Extended Producer Responsibility compliance and product fee settlement services for tire manufacturers and importers provided through subsidiary Recykl Organizacja Odzysku S.A.; digital tire collection logistics and pickup scheduling managed through its proprietary SODO mobile application; domestic and international freight transport and specialized fleet logistics operated through subsidiary Reco-Trans Sp. z o.o.; and industrial technology licensing and engineering of rubber processing lines. Grupa Recykl operates three large-scale recycling facilities in Srem, Krosno Odrzanskie, and Chelm, Poland, with a combined annual processing capacity exceeding 140,000 metric tons of end-of-life tires. In recent major corporate developments, Grupa Recykl has accelerated its international expansion in Europe through targeted mergers, acquisitions, and cross-border technology export. The company finalized the acquisition of Lithuanian tire collection and transport enterprise UAB Antrinio perdirbimo grupe, rebranding the operation as Recykl Litwa to establish a strategic procurement and distribution gateway for the Baltic and Nordic markets. To further expand its Western European presence, the group advanced the acquisition of German tire recycling and trading company Harzer Reifenhandel und Verwertung Wernigerode GmbH. To support this international growth strategy and refinance existing acquisition debt, Grupa Recykl secured up to 6 million euros in expansion financing from the Foreign Expansion Fund 2 FIZAN, managed by PFR TFI. Operationally, the company expanded its industrial manufacturing capacity for the SMAPOL road additive line at its Chelm facility and entered into a commercial agreement to supply and license SMAPOL production line technology to Sweden, expanding its proprietary material solutions into Scandinavia. Founded in 2004 and consolidated under its present corporate group structure in 2010, Grupa Recykl S.A. is headquartered in Srem, Poland.
