Business
NOA Lithium Brines Inc. is a Canada-based lithium exploration and development company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and advancement of lithium-brine mineral properties for the battery-metals and energy-storage markets. The Company’s principal activities include lithium-brine exploration drilling; resource delineation and estimation; hydrogeological, geophysical and geochemical studies; brine sampling and metallurgical testing; water-resource exploration; preliminary economic and feasibility studies; environmental permitting; and the evaluation of lithium-processing alternatives, including direct lithium extraction technologies. NOA’s portfolio comprises lithium-brine claims across the Rio Grande Salar, Arizaro Salar and Salinas Grandes salar in Salta Province, Argentina, within the Lithium Triangle. Its flagship, 100%-owned Rio Grande Project comprises approximately 37,000 hectares and hosts a mineral resource estimate of 4.7 million tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent at an average lithium concentration of 525 mg/L. The Company also controls a broader portfolio exceeding 140,000 hectares across its three prospective salars. Rio Grande is being advanced toward a preliminary feasibility study following a positive preliminary economic assessment released in October 2025, while the Company’s exploration work includes production-well drilling, resource expansion, hydrogeological testing and development of an on-site freshwater supply intended to support potential processing facilities and evaporation ponds. NOA has also commenced a 2026 exploration drilling campaign at Rio Grande as part of its project-development program. In June 2026, the Company entered into an indicative, non-binding term sheet with Summit Explore Corporation, a subsidiary of Summit Lithium Technologies, for an option and joint venture arrangement covering its Arizaro Project. Under the proposed arrangement, Summit Explore may earn a 60% interest through technical studies and up to approximately US$3.5 million in cash and equity investments, including the completion of NI 43-101-compliant preliminary economic and feasibility studies; Arizaro brine is also expected to undergo testing using Summit’s denaLi direct lithium extraction technology in Santiago, Chile. NOA Lithium Brines Inc., formerly known as NOA Lithium Brines Corp., was founded in 2021 and is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
