KEC International Limited, the flagship company of the RPG Group and headquartered in Mumbai, India, is a USD 2.6 billion global infrastructure engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) major originally founded in 1945 as Kamani Engineering Corporation. The company designs, manufactures, supplies and constructs turnkey projects across power transmission and distribution including high-voltage lines up to 1,200 kV, extra-high-voltage (EHV) projects, substations, distribution networks and rural electrification; railway infrastructure encompassing electrification systems, bridges, tunnels, signaling and track expansions; civil works such as buildings, factories, luxury villas and upstream steel projects; smart infrastructure solutions featuring innovative grid management, intelligent transportation and digital asset optimization; renewables including solar and wind power plants; oil and gas pipelines; and cables and conductors comprising power, instrumentation, control, telecom, railway and aluminum types produced at facilities in India, Dubai, Brazil and Mexico. KEC International operates in over 110 countries across six continents with projects currently executing in more than 30 nations, targeting power utilities, railways, real estate developers, steel companies, private developers and governments. In recent developments, the company has secured multiple large orders in 2025 including Rs 1,133 crore for transmission and distribution from Power Grid Corporation of India and private developers with a high-voltage direct current (HVDC) project; Rs 1,174 crore for +/-800 kV HVDC and 765 kV lines in India plus 380 kV lines in Saudi Arabia; Rs 1,016 crore across civil (luxury villas and steel projects), transmission and distribution (400 kV UAE lines), cables and its first Middle East oil and gas pipeline order, pushing year-to-date intake past Rs 17,000 crore; and commissioned the first phase of an aluminum conductor plant in Vadodara while planning a greenfield E-beam and rubber cables facility by March 2026.
