Business
Paragon Fine and Speciality Chemical Ltd. (PARAGON.NS) manufactures and supplies specialty chemical intermediates for diverse industries including pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, pigments and dyes, cosmetics, electronics, paper, leather, plastics, and polymers. The company offers a portfolio of over 140 products encompassing agro intermediates, pharma intermediates, specialty intermediates, pigment intermediates, cosmetic intermediates, and dye intermediates; it is recognized as India's largest supplier of chloranil and dichlone. Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, with manufacturing facilities in the Viramgam District, Paragon serves both domestic and international clients through custom synthesis and contract manufacturing services. In recent developments, the company listed on the NSE SME via an initial public offering in November 2023, raising approximately INR 51.66 crore to fund capacity expansions, debt repayment, equipment installations, and working capital requirements. Paragon has expanded its production capacity from 650 MTPA to a planned 850 MTPA by June 2025, supported by ongoing capital expenditures in civil construction and new machinery at its existing Gujarat premises. During H1 FY25, it secured long-term contracts with two global players in India, advanced three products toward additional long-term agreements, and increased customer engagements through exhibitions in China, Mumbai, and Germany. The company holds certifications including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, SA 8000, and One Star Export House status, underscoring its focus on quality, sustainability, and global compliance.
