The company, flagship of the SOM Group, targets mass and mid-premium consumer segments through a robust distribution network and exports to Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas. In recent developments, Som Distilleries advances a Rs 600 crore greenfield project via subsidiary Woodpecker Greenagri Nutrients Private Limited at Khimsepur, Farrukhabad in Uttar Pradesh, encompassing a brewery, distillery, and manufacturing facilities to bolster pan-India presence; it plans Odisha plant capacity expansion starting December 2025 with Rs 30-40 crore investment, alongside premium beer product launches priced around Kingfisher Ultra levels and potential acquisitions or greenfield ventures; additionally, the board approved a preferential issue of up to 20 lakh equity shares at Rs 112 each to promoter group entities for operational and expansion funding.
