Business
Viaz Tyres Ltd. (VIAZ.NS) manufactures and sells butyl molded rubber tubes and related automotive products in India. The company produces tubes for bicycles, two- and three-wheelers, passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, off-the-road (OTR) applications, industrial vehicles, farm equipment, and animal-driven vehicles (ADV); it also offers ancillary products including engine oils, greases, and lubricants through white-label partnerships, as well as trades tires via exclusive distributorship arrangements such as with Maxxis Rubbers Private Limited for the Turkish market. Viaz Tyres operates a manufacturing facility with an installed capacity of 700,000 tubes per month in Nandasan, Gujarat, and maintains a domestic distribution network across approximately 19 Indian states including Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Karnataka, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Bihar, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh; internationally, it serves markets in the United States, Turkey, Romania, United Arab Emirates, and Colombia. Incorporated in 2018 as Viaz Tubes Private Limited and converted to a public limited company with a name change to Viaz Tyres Limited in 2022, the company is headquartered at 915-916, Maple Trade Center, Near Surdhara Circle, Thaltej, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. In recent developments, Viaz Tyres approved a preferential allotment of 1,500,000 equity shares and 6,940,000 warrants at its annual general meeting on September 30, 2025, alongside alterations to its articles of association and memorandum of association and a related-party property purchase; earlier in July 2024, it incorporated a 90%-owned subsidiary, Autobots Trading FZC, in the United Arab Emirates with AED 100,000 authorized capital to trade tubes, tires, engine oils, and automobile accessories. These initiatives support ongoing capacity expansions funded partly through borrowings and reflect strategic growth in international trading operations.
