Vishwas Agri Seeds Ltd manufactures, processes, and markets a diverse portfolio of hybrid, vegetable, and self-pollinated seeds for field crops and vegetables under the Vishwas Seeds brand. The company offers vegetable seeds including chili, tomato, brinjal, okra, watermelon, sweet corn, muskmelon, cabbage, cauliflower, bitter gourd, ridge gourd, sponge gourd, cucumber, onion, cluster bean, cowpea, sugar beet, radish, pea, bean, spinach, coriander, fenugreek, and carrot; hybrid seeds such as cotton, castor, pearl millet, maize, paddy, fennel, onion, pigeon pea, mustard, nutri feed, and sorghum sudan grass; and self-pollinated seeds encompassing groundnut, black gram, coriander, isabgol, sesame, chickpea, onion, soybean, wheat, mustard, fodder millet, rajka, pigeon pea, and mung bean. It caters to over 46 crops and 151 products, primarily targeting farmers in the agricultural sector through a network of more than 600 authorized dealers and distributors. Incorporated in 2013 and headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, the company commenced commercial operations in 2010 from facilities initially in Rajkot and Gondal before shifting headquarters and ceasing Rajkot operations in 2023 to focus on its state-of-the-art seed processing unit, warehouse, and cold storage facility spanning 5 acres in Bavla, Ahmedabad. Vishwas Agri Seeds primarily operates across Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra, with production processes incorporating advanced technologies like optical sorting machines, seed treatment with fungicides and insecticides, and quality testing for physical purity, germination, vigor, seed health, and genetic purity. In recent developments, the company completed its initial public offering on the NSE SME platform in April 2024, raising funds through a fresh issue of 30 lakh equity shares to support working capital, capital expenditures including corporate office furnishing, seed testing laboratory equipment, greenhouse setup, and rooftop solar panels. In August 2025, Vishwas Agri Seeds approved alterations to its IPO objects via board resolution and postal ballot, alongside appointing a scrutinizer for e-voting conducted from August 26 to September 24, 2025, reflecting ongoing strategic adjustments post-listing. For fiscal year 2025, the company reported revenue from operations of ₹10,228.18 lakhs, up from ₹7,477.12 lakhs in FY 2024, driven by expansions in hybrid and disease-resistant seed portfolios, new high-yielding and climate-resilient varieties, enhanced quality processes, and strengthened market presence.
