Business
Nihon Decoluxe Co., Ltd. is a Japan-based chemical and building materials manufacturing company primarily engaged in the development, production, and sale of decorative melamine laminates, non-combustible architectural interior panels, chemical anchoring systems, and specialized industrial adhesives. Founded in 1958 and headquartered in Inazawa, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, the company operates through three principal business divisions: Decorative Materials, Civil Engineering and Construction Materials, and Functional Industrial Products. The Decorative Materials division manufactures and markets high-pressure melamine decorative sheets under the Decoluxe brand; non-combustible decorative wall panels for commercial facilities, medical centers, kitchens, and sanitary spaces; post-forming laminates for architectural woodwork and furniture surfaces; inorganic core non-combustible boards; and decorative polywood boards engineered with antibacterial, antiviral, and scratch-resistant surface treatments. The Civil Engineering and Construction Materials division develops and produces chemical capsule anchors, injection-type chemical anchoring systems, and high-performance resin fasteners utilized in seismic retrofitting, infrastructure rehabilitation, tunnel and bridge reinforcement, and structural concrete fastening across public and private civil engineering projects. The Functional Industrial Products division provides specialized synthetic resin adhesives; structural bonding agents; optical and electronic functional films; and custom adhesive compounds tailored for precision manufacturing, transportation equipment, and industrial assembly applications. Nihon Decoluxe primarily serves general contractors, interior finish contractors, building materials distributors, engineering firms, and industrial fabricators across domestic Japanese markets while maintaining export channels in East and Southeast Asia. In recent developments, Nihon Decoluxe has expanded its architectural portfolio with the launch of next-generation low-VOC and certified antibacterial non-combustible interior decorative panels designed for healthcare, educational, and public infrastructure environments. The company has also upgraded its production capabilities and automated processing lines at its domestic manufacturing facilities to enhance energy efficiency, reduce operational carbon emissions, and meet growing demand for advanced seismic reinforcement chemical anchors driven by nationwide infrastructure resilience initiatives in Japan. In addition, Nihon Decoluxe continues to optimize its product portfolio by expanding high-value-added specialty adhesive solutions for electronics and industrial assembly while advancing sustainable manufacturing practices across its supply chain.
