Through its expanded agribusiness and trading operations, the company sources, processes, and distributes agricultural produce and raw commodities, including avocados, mangoes, fresh herbs, chillies, tea, coffee, cut flowers, grains, meat, and fish. In addition to physical processing, the company provides agricultural supply chain and commercialization services, including digital commodities exchange operations for price discovery and trade settlement; agricultural equipment leasing; post-harvest cold storage and warehousing facilities; and export logistics and market linkage solutions connecting local farmers to regional and international markets. The company was founded in 1900 and is headquartered in Nakuru, Kenya, with trading and distribution networks extending across East Africa and the Middle East. Formerly known as Kenya Orchards Limited, the company adopted the name Africa Mega Agricorp PLC in December 2024 following the acquisition of an 84% majority controlling stake by Africa Mega Agriculture Centre Limited, driving a strategic transformation from traditional food canning into a comprehensive agro-industrial and commodities trading platform.
