Business
Nairobi Business Ventures PLC is a Kenya-based diversified investment holding company engaged in aviation support services, commercial vehicle maintenance, industrial trading, and infrastructure development across East Africa. Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya, the company operates as a subsidiary of the UAE-based conglomerate Delta International FZE. The company operates through four primary business divisions: Aviation Services, Automotive Solutions, Trading and Industrial Supplies, and Commercial Real Estate. Through its Aviation Services segment, the company provides aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services; line maintenance and hangar parking management; ground handling support; and air freight, cargo transport, and charter services operated through its subsidiaries, Aviation Management Solutions Limited and Air Direct Connect Limited. Through its Automotive Solutions division, operated via Delta Automobile Limited, the company offers maintenance, mechanical overhaul, body repair, preventive servicing, and computerized diagnostics for heavy-duty commercial trucks, trailers, buses, and fleet transport vehicles. The Trading and Industrial Supplies division engages in the wholesale sourcing, import, and distribution of construction materials and industrial inputs, including cement, clinker, structural steel, and related building supplies. The Commercial Real Estate segment manages property holdings, offering industrial land leases, commercial office space, and logistics storage facilities. In recent years, Nairobi Business Ventures PLC completed a comprehensive corporate transformation, transitioning from its legacy retail footwear and leather goods business into a diversified industrial and services group following the acquisition of an 84 percent controlling stake by Delta International FZE. As part of this strategic reorganization, the company completed the acquisitions of Delta Automobile Limited, Aviation Management Solutions Limited, and Air Direct Connect Limited, while acquiring industrial real estate in Machakos County to support industrial processing initiatives, positioning the group to expand its aviation MRO and fleet maintenance capabilities across regional East African transport and logistics corridors.
