NVIDIA sells primarily through original equipment manufacturers, original design manufacturers, system builders, distributors, cloud service providers, add-in-board manufacturers, automotive suppliers and direct enterprise channels. Its platforms support generative and agentic AI, large-language-model training and inference, data analytics, scientific computing, cybersecurity, digital twins, computer-aided engineering, industrial automation, robotics, medical imaging, autonomous vehicles, gaming and content creation. The company maintains operations and customers globally, with significant activity across the Americas, Asia-Pacific and Europe, the Middle East and Africa. NVIDIA was incorporated in California in 1993, reincorporated in Delaware in 1998, and is headquartered in Santa Clara, California. Recent strategic developments include the expansion of NVIDIA’s collaboration with MediaTek across AI infrastructure, local AI computing and automotive platforms; MediaTek’s planned adoption of NVIDIA NVLink Fusion for custom XPU integration into NVLink-connected rack-scale AI factories; and NVIDIA’s $3.5 billion investment in MediaTek convertible bonds. NVIDIA also announced a multiyear strategic alliance with Lumentum covering advanced-optics research and development, laser-component capacity and U.S.-based manufacturing expansion, accompanied by a $2 billion NVIDIA investment in Lumentum. The company has expanded work with industrial software providers Cadence, Dassault Systèmes, PTC, Siemens and Synopsys to deploy CUDA-X, Omniverse and GPU-accelerated engineering tools for industrial design and manufacturing. Product and platform introductions include the Vera CPU for agentic AI infrastructure, NVIDIA RTX Spark personal AI computing, Jetson Orin Nano 2 edge-AI and robotics computing, NVIDIA cuEST for GPU-accelerated electronic-structure calculations, enhanced NVIDIA Nemotron models and NeMo Switchyard model-routing capabilities, and continued expansion of Blackwell-, Vera Rubin- and RTX-based computing platforms. NVIDIA has also announced partnerships with major alternative-asset managers and financial institutions to establish independent AI-compute financing platforms intended to mobilize more than $500 billion of third-party capital for AI infrastructure deployment over time.
