- New Zealand Energy Corp. engages in the acquisition, exploration, appraisal, development, production and sale of crude oil, natural gas and gas-storage assets in New Zealand. The Company’s principal activities comprise onshore oil and gas production; well workovers, recompletions, flow testing and production optimization; processing and marketing of crude oil, condensate and associated natural gas; and development of gas-storage infrastructure. The Company also owns a 50% interest in the Tariki gas-storage project, which is intended to support gas production, storage and delivery opportunities in the domestic New Zealand market. Customers comprise domestic purchasers of petroleum liquids and natural gas, with sales enabled through its operated and non-operated production and processing infrastructure.
