- ALPS O'Shares Europe Quality Dividend ETF (OEUR) is an exchange-traded fund that seeks to track the performance, before fees and expenses, of the O'Shares Europe Quality Dividend Index, which measures publicly-listed large- and mid-capitalization dividend-paying issuers in Europe meeting thresholds for market capitalization, liquidity, high quality, low volatility, and high dividend yield. The fund provides exposure to a portfolio of approximately 53 high-quality European companies selected and weighted based on quality metrics such as return on assets and leverage, low volatility, high dividend yield, and dividend growth; top holdings include SAP SE, Siemens AG, Novartis AG, Roche Holding AG, and Nestlé S.A., with significant allocations to industrials, consumer discretionary, and health care sectors. Launched on August 19, 2015, OEUR trades on the Cboe BZX exchange, maintains total operating expenses of 0.48%, and pays quarterly distributions, targeting investors seeking reduced risk of dividend traps through emphasis on financially robust issuers across Europe.
Effective October 1, 2025, SS&C ALPS Advisors, the fund's adviser and a wholly-owned subsidiary of SS&C Technologies Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: SSNC), implemented strategic changes including a name change to ALPS O'Shares International Developed Quality Dividend ETF, a ticker symbol change from OEUR to OEFA, adoption of a new underlying index (O'Shares International Developed Quality Dividend Index, ticker OEFAX) that expands the investable universe to top 50 highest-weight, sector-specific large- and mid-cap companies in developed ex-US markets, and revised investment objectives and principal strategies to enhance portfolio quality and diversification beyond Europe.
Prior to these changes, the fund focused exclusively on European equities domiciled primarily in countries such as Germany, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, France, and Spain; post-rebranding, OEFA broadens geographic scope to developed markets outside the US while retaining its core multi-factor dividend strategy. SS&C ALPS Advisors, headquartered in Denver, Colorado, oversees approximately $31.84 billion in assets as of September 30, 2025, positioning the fund within its suite of sustainable income and growth-oriented ETFs.
