The company operates a network of six retail stores in Atlantic Canada, Presque Isle, Maine, Aurora, Colorado, and Lynnwood, Illinois, serving customers in pulp and paper, aluminum, forestry, automotive, oil and gas, heavy equipment, hydraulics, injection molding, and power generation industries; it distributes products via dealers, wholesalers, private label partnerships, and direct sales offices. Founded in 1943 and headquartered in Baldwin, New York, Osiris Corporation changed its name from Thomas Equipment Inc. in January 2008 and was previously a subsidiary of McCain Foods Limited; it acquired Pneutech and its subsidiaries in February 2005 to expand into fluid power manufacturing.
