- Pampa Investments S.A. is a Chile-based investment holding company that acquires, holds and manages equity securities, debt instruments and other financial assets, with its principal economic exposure linked to Sociedad Química y Minera de Chile S.A. (SQM). Through its investment structure and former subsidiary relationships, the Company participates indirectly in the specialty plant-nutrition, lithium, iodine and industrial-chemical markets served by SQM, including specialty fertilizers and related chemical products; lithium products and derivatives; iodine and iodine derivatives; and industrial chemicals. The Company’s activities comprise the ownership and administration of investments in shares, bonds and other securities, rather than direct manufacturing or commercial distribution of these products. Its target market is primarily Chilean and international investors seeking exposure to SQM and its global specialty-chemicals and energy-transition materials businesses.
Formerly known as Sociedad de Inversiones Oro Blanco S.A., Pampa Investments was founded in 1988 and is headquartered at Avenida Apoquindo 4700, Piso 16, Las Condes, Santiago, Chile. The Company operates principally in Chile and functions as a holding vehicle within Grupo Pampa, whose investment structure is focused on SQM.
In 2025 and 2026, the Company completed a major simplification and reorganization of Grupo Pampa’s ownership structure. The process included the absorption of Pampa Calichera, Norte Grande and Global Mining by Oro Blanco, the merger of Nitratos into Potasios, and the subsequent renaming of the continuing entities as Pampa Investments and Potasios Investments. In July 2026, Oro Blanco completed a capital increase and share exchange associated with the absorption of Norte Grande, concluding the group’s restructuring initiative, which reduced the number of listed cascade holding companies from six to two and was intended to lower administrative costs, simplify the group’s SQM ownership structure and improve the visibility and marketability of its investment vehicles.
Pampa Investments joined Chile’s IPSA equity index effective September 1, 2026, following its corporate rebranding and restructuring. Management has also indicated that the Group is pursuing greater international investor engagement, including an overseas roadshow, while maintaining its strategic focus on its SQM-linked investment exposure.
