PGIM Rock ETF Trust – PGIM S&P 500 Buffer 20 ETF – June (NYSE Arca: PBJN) is an actively managed, non-diversified exchange-traded fund designed to provide investors with defined-outcome exposure to the price performance of the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY). The Fund seeks to match SPY’s price return up to a predetermined upside cap while buffering the first 20% of SPY losses, before fees and expenses, over an approximately one-year target outcome period beginning in June. The Fund implements its strategy primarily through a portfolio of FLEX Options on SPY, including purchased and written call and put options, and collateral investments such as cash, cash equivalents and money market instruments. PBJN targets retail and institutional investors seeking large-cap U.S. equity exposure with limited downside protection and capped upside participation; its target outcome, buffer and cap are designed for shareholders purchasing on the first day of, and holding through the end of, each annual June outcome period, and may differ for investors transacting during the period.
PBJN commenced operations on May 31, 2024 and is a series of PGIM Rock ETF Trust, a U.S.-registered investment company. The Fund is managed by PGIM Investments LLC and is subadvised by PGIM Quantitative Solutions LLC, the quantitative equity and multi-asset investment specialist within PGIM. PGIM is the global asset-management business of Prudential Financial, Inc. (NYSE: PRU), and provides public and private market investment strategies across fixed income, equities, real estate and alternative assets to retail and institutional clients globally. PGIM is headquartered in Newark, New Jersey, and operates through offices in multiple countries; Prudential Financial was founded in 1875 and is headquartered in Newark, New Jersey.
Recent strategic developments relate to PGIM’s continued expansion of its defined-outcome ETF platform. In July 2026, PGIM launched four S&P 500 quarterly buffer ETFs offering 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% downside-buffer alternatives over approximately three-month target outcome periods, broadening its buffer ETF lineup beyond the annual S&P 500 Buffer 12 and Buffer 20 series that includes PBJN. PGIM stated that its defined-outcome ETF suite then comprised nearly 50 solutions spanning multiple reference indices, buffer levels, outcome periods and laddered single-ticker strategies; the quarterly products are also subadvised by PGIM Quantitative Solutions.
