Business
PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk stands as a leading Indonesian producer and supplier of essential construction materials, serving markets both domestically and abroad. Its business operations are structured into three primary areas: Cement production, Ready-Mix Concrete solutions, and Aggregates Quarrying. The company’s extensive cement portfolio features a range of products, including Portland composite cement, various ordinary Portland types (I, II, and V), oil well cement, and white cement, distinguishing itself as Indonesia’s exclusive white cement manufacturer. Additionally, it provides diverse mortar products like multipurpose mortar, thinbed, and plaster plus, marketed under trusted names such as Tiga Roda, Rajawali, Duracem, and Semen Grobogan. Beyond manufacturing, Indocement engages in quarrying aggregates, clay, limestone, and trass, alongside supporting activities such as logistics, excavation, electricity generation, comprehensive waste management, and labor services. Formed in 1975 and headquartered in Jakarta, Indonesia, the firm operates as a subsidiary of Heidelberg Materials AG. In recent years, Indocement has expanded its reach, notably through the 2023 acquisition of PT Semen Grobogan to bolster production capacity. The company also demonstrates a strong commitment to environmental sustainability, highlighted by the commissioning of a solar power plant at its Tarjun site and the development of lower-carbon cement offerings, reflecting its dedication to green initiatives.
