PGIM S&P 500 Max Buffer ETF - May (ticker: PMMY) is a U.S.-listed, actively managed exchange-traded fund series of PGIM Rock ETF Trust that seeks to provide returns matching the price return of the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust, up to a predetermined upside cap, while seeking to maximize downside protection against losses in the reference ETF during a one-year May-to-April target outcome period. The fund provides defined-outcome equity exposure through a portfolio of exchange-traded FLEX Options on SPY, including purchased and written call and put options designed to establish the applicable return cap and downside buffer; it generally invests at least 80% of net assets, plus borrowings for investment purposes, in investments providing exposure to securities in the S&P 500 Index. PMMY is a non-diversified alternative ETF, benchmarks its performance to the S&P 500 Price Return Index, trades on Cboe BZX, and is intended for investors seeking capped participation in U.S. large-cap equity-market appreciation alongside buffered downside exposure when shares are purchased at the beginning of, and held through, the applicable target outcome period. The fund commenced operations on April 30, 2025, is managed by John Hall, Devang Gambhirwala and Marco Aiolfi of PGIM Quantitative Solutions, and has an October 31 fiscal year-end. PGIM Investments serves as investment manager, with PGIM Quantitative Solutions acting as subadviser; both are affiliates of PGIM, the global asset-management business of Prudential Financial, Inc., headquartered in Newark, New Jersey. Recent strategic developments include PGIM’s continued expansion of its defined-outcome ETF platform: in July 2026, the firm introduced four S&P 500 quarterly buffer ETFs, expanding its buffer ETF range to nearly 50 solutions and complementing the existing 12-fund PGIM S&P 500 Max Buffer ETF series, including PMMY.
