PGIM S&P 500 Max Buffer ETF – September (ticker: PMSE) is a non-diversified, actively managed exchange-traded fund series of PGIM Rock ETF Trust that seeks to provide investment returns matching the price return of the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY), up to a predetermined upside cap, while seeking to maximize protection against losses in SPY over an approximately one-year target outcome period beginning in September. The Fund implements its defined-outcome strategy principally through investments in customized FLEX Options on SPY, which are reset at the start of each annual outcome period to establish a new upside cap and downside buffer. The Fund’s returns are intended to approximate the prescribed outcome only for shareholders purchasing at the beginning of, and holding through, the complete target outcome period; returns may differ for shares acquired or sold during the period. PMSE provides listed U.S. equity-market exposure with capped appreciation and buffered-loss characteristics, and is designed for retail and institutional investors seeking a defined-outcome alternative investment vehicle. It trades on Cboe BZX under the PMSE symbol, uses the S&P 500 Price Return Index as its benchmark, and commenced operations on August 29, 2025. The Fund is managed by PGIM Quantitative Solutions, including John Hall, Devang Gambhirwala and Marco Aiolfi, and is part of PGIM’s S&P 500 Max Buffer ETF series of 12 annual, month-specific ETFs. PGIM Quantitative Solutions, established in 1975, is PGIM’s quantitative equity and multi-asset investment specialist; PGIM is the global asset-management business of Prudential Financial, Inc., headquartered in Newark, New Jersey. Recent strategic developments include PGIM’s July 2026 expansion of its defined-outcome ETF platform through the launch of four quarterly S&P 500 buffer ETFs, broadening the firm’s buffer ETF range to nearly 50 solutions across indices, buffer levels, target-outcome durations and laddered products; the expansion reinforces the Max Buffer series’ position within PGIM’s wider actively managed ETF and defined-outcome offering.
