- PGIM Nasdaq-100 Buffer 12 ETF - July (PQJL) is an actively managed exchange-traded fund that seeks to deliver returns matching the price return of the Invesco QQQ Trust, Series 1 (tracking the Nasdaq-100 Index), up to a predefined upside cap, while providing a buffer against the first 12% of losses (before fees and expenses) over its target outcome period of January 1, 2025, through June 30, 2025. The fund invests substantially all of its assets in customized FLEX options on the Invesco QQQ Trust; holds positions such as call and put FLEX options alongside cash equivalents like the PGIM Core Government Money Market Fund; and features a net expense ratio of 0.50% with primary holdings concentrated in large-cap equity exposure via options strategies. Managed by PGIM Quantitative Solutions, part of PGIM Investments—the retail arm of PGIM, Inc., headquartered in Newark, New Jersey, with roots tracing to 1875 through its parent Prudential Financial—the ETF trades on Nasdaq and targets investors seeking defined-outcome exposure to Nasdaq-100 performance in the U.S. market. Launched on December 27, 2024, PQJL forms part of PGIM's expanding buffer ETF suite, which includes series providing 100% downside protection with dynamic caps and laddered options across monthly periods; PGIM recently launched three actively managed fixed income ETFs (PCS, PCI, PCL) in August 2025 and additional buffer series to grow its platform beyond 50 equity, multi-asset, and buffer ETFs with over $17 billion in assets under management. PGIM Quantitative Solutions, established in 1975, employs research-driven quantitative processes for superior risk-adjusted returns, with the ETF managed by John Hall, CFA (Multi-Asset Team), Devang Gambhirwala (Quantitative Equity), and Marco Aiolfi, PhD (Head of Multi-Asset); the firm operates globally from offices in the U.S., Europe, and Asia, serving retail and institutional clients focused on equities, fixed income, alternatives, and multi-asset solutions.
