- LSE SPAC-I Limited is a Pakistan-based blank-check special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) established to raise capital through an initial public offering on the Pakistan Stock Exchange and execute a qualifying business combination, reverse merger, or asset acquisition with an operating commercial enterprise. The company operates within the financial services and investment sector, primarily focusing on identifying, structuring, and executing strategic transactions with high-growth operating businesses in Pakistan's clean energy, renewable power, and infrastructure markets. Through its capital formation and acquisition vehicle platform, the company provides structured equity financing solutions; capital pooling and escrow management; reverse merger transaction structuring; public listing access facilitation for private operating companies; and post-merger integration services. Target operational capabilities and combined commercial offerings encompassing its target business include turnkey engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services for solar photovoltaic projects; commercial, industrial, and residential rooftop and ground-mounted solar power installations; grid-tied, hybrid, and off-grid solar energy systems; lithium-ion battery energy storage systems (BESS) and smart energy management solutions; import, distribution, and wholesale supply of solar photovoltaic modules, hybrid inverters, and power electronics; comprehensive operations and maintenance (O&M) services, including real-time performance monitoring, predictive fault diagnostics, and preventative equipment servicing; and structured deferred-payment, lease-to-own, and corporate power purchase agreement (PPA) financing models for small and medium-sized enterprises and commercial energy consumers. In recent strategic developments, LSE SPAC-I Limited entered into a definitive business combination and reverse merger agreement with Ningbo Green Light Energy Limited (NGLE), marking the first SPAC-driven public listing transaction on the Pakistan Stock Exchange. Under the structured transaction, LSE SPAC-I Limited completed an initial acquisition of a 19.04 percent equity interest in Ningbo Green Light Energy Limited, followed by an approved draft scheme of arrangement for a complete amalgamation at a share swap ratio of 1.50 shares of Ningbo Green Light Energy Limited for every 1 share of LSE SPAC-I Limited, under which Ningbo Green Light Energy Limited will serve as the surviving publicly listed entity. The transaction received formal regulatory approval from the Competition Commission of Pakistan in September 2026, following unanimous shareholder approval in July 2026, with final implementation subject to the sanction of the Lahore High Court. Founded in March 2025 and sponsored by LSE Ventures Limited alongside LSE Capital Limited, LSE SPAC-I Limited is headquartered at The Exchange Hub, LSE Plaza, 19-Kashmir Egerton Road, Lahore, Pakistan.
