Business
Platina Resources Limited (ASX:PGM; OTC:PTNUF) is an Australia-based mineral exploration company focused on acquiring, exploring, and developing precious metals deposits, primarily gold projects in Western Australia's premier gold-producing regions including the Yilgarn Craton and Pilbara Craton. Incorporated in 2006 and headquartered at Level 2, Suite 9, 389 Oxford Street, Mount Hawthorn, Western Australia, the company controls 100% interests in a portfolio of advanced-stage gold projects such as Xanadu in the Ashburton Basin; Challa and Beete in the Yilgarn Craton; Mt McKenna, Sunrise Bore, Binti Binti, and Jubilee near Laverton; Mt Narryer; Brimstone; and Cleopatra South, targeting geological settings conducive to multi-million-ounce discoveries through aircore, reverse circulation, and diamond drilling programs. It also holds potential for platinum group metals, zinc, base metals, and copper exploration, with operations centered in Western Australia proximate to major mines like Sunrise Dam, Mt Magnet, Norseman, and Kalgoorlie. Recent developments include the conditional acquisition of the Sunrise Bore Gold Project from Bravo Minerals in October 2025 for AUD 1.2 million in cash and shares plus a 1% net smelter royalty, expanding its Laverton holdings adjacent to the multi-million-ounce Sunrise Dam mine; an agreement to acquire Jasper Exploration Pty Ltd in September 2025 for AUD 0.76 million; commencement of follow-up drilling at Challa and Beete projects in June 2025 yielding encouraging gold intersections such as 12m at 0.66g/t and 4m at 1.7g/t; a government-funded diamond drill hole at Cleopatra South in February 2025 intersecting 16.1m at 0.2g/t gold; diamond drilling at Xanadu Deeps supported by an AUD 54,750 grant; and a strong cash position of AUD 13 million as of late 2025 to fund ongoing exploration.
