- Puma Exploration Inc. is a Canadian mineral exploration company focused on acquiring, prospecting and developing precious metals projects, primarily gold, in Northern New Brunswick near the Bathurst Mining Camp. The company explores for gold, silver and copper deposits through its flagship Williams Brook Gold Project, optioned to Kinross Gold Corporation under an agreement allowing Kinross to earn a 65% interest by spending CAD$16.75 million over five years with Puma retaining operatorship and receiving 10-15% management fees; the recently acquired McKenzie Gold Project covering 33,660 hectares with initial mapping, trenching and sampling underway; and other properties including JonPol, Portage, Moose Brook, Lion Gold Zone and TIMM.
