Business
TrueShares Quarterly Bear Hedge ETF is an actively managed exchange-traded fund that seeks to provide investors with a tail-risk hedge against material declines in the U.S. large-cap equity market. The fund invests principally in high-quality, short-term fixed-income securities, including U.S. Treasury bills and other debt instruments, and uses equity-index-related put options and other derivatives to pursue gains during significant equity-market selloffs; option strategies may include at-the-money and out-of-the-money puts and, where appropriate, more complex strategies such as box spreads. The fund is designed primarily for downside-risk mitigation and income generation rather than participation in rising equity markets, and does not track an underlying index. It is offered under the TrueShares brand by the Elevation Series Trust, with TrueMark Investments, LLC serving as investment adviser and Paralel Distributors LLC serving as distributor. Launched on June 28, 2024, the fund trades on Cboe BZX under the ticker QBER and is marketed to U.S. investors, financial advisers, and brokerage clients seeking portfolio hedging exposure. Its principal services consist of professionally managed exposure to short-duration fixed income, equity-market downside protection, options-based risk management, daily NAV calculation, and exchange-traded liquidity. As of September 2026, QBER reports approximately $75.0 million in net assets, 21 holdings, 3.15 million shares outstanding, and a 0.79% expense ratio. A recent operational change effective August 1, 2026 revised the methodology used to calculate reported market-price returns, transitioning from a bid-ask midpoint calculation to the official closing price reported by the fund’s primary exchange.
