AllianzIM International Equity Buffer5 ETF (Cboe BZX: QBIV) is a U.S.-listed, actively managed buffered outcome exchange-traded fund sponsored and advised by Allianz Investment Management LLC (AllianzIM). The fund seeks, over successive three-month outcome periods, to match the share-price returns of the iShares MSCI EAFE ETF, which provides developed-market international equity exposure, up to a predetermined upside cap, while absorbing the first 5% of losses in the underlying ETF during the applicable outcome period, before fees and expenses. QBIV uses options and other derivatives to implement its defined-outcome strategy and is designed for individual and institutional investors seeking international equity participation with a stated level of downside risk mitigation; the fund does not protect against losses exceeding the 5% buffer and returns may differ for investors purchasing or selling shares during an outcome period. QBIV commenced trading on April 1, 2026, as part of AllianzIM’s expansion of its Buffered ETF platform, which introduced seven quarterly-reset, single-ticker buffered ETFs alongside an additional international uncapped buffered strategy. AllianzIM, founded in 1999 and headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is a registered investment adviser specializing in institutional risk-management and hedging strategies, including defined outcome ETFs offering capped, uncapped, buffer and floor structures across U.S. large-cap, Nasdaq-100, Russell 2000 and developed international equity exposures. AllianzIM is a wholly owned subsidiary of Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America and an affiliate of Allianz Life Financial Services, LLC, within Allianz Group.
