AllianzIM U.S. Small Cap Buffer5 ETF is a U.S.-listed, non-diversified, actively managed buffered outcome exchange-traded fund that seeks to provide risk-managed exposure to U.S. small-cap equities. The fund seeks, over each three-month outcome period, to match the share-price return of the iShares Russell 2000 ETF, which tracks the Russell 2000 Index, up to a predetermined upside cap, while buffering the first 5% of losses in the reference ETF, before fees and expenses. Its principal investment products and services comprise exchange-traded FLEX options on the iShares Russell 2000 ETF; quarterly resetting capped-upside and buffered-downside exposure; 1:1 upside participation in the reference ETF up to the applicable cap; and a defined-outcome investment vehicle for financial advisers, retail investors, and institutions seeking U.S. small-cap exposure with a specified level of downside risk mitigation. The fund does not invest directly in the reference ETF or the Russell 2000 Index and uses customized, exchange-traded FLEX options, issued and guaranteed for settlement by the Options Clearing Corporation, to establish its intended return profile. The full stated cap and buffer apply only to shareholders holding shares for the complete outcome period, and the strategy remains subject to market, small-capitalization, options, counterparty, liquidity, non-diversification, capped-upside, and loss-of-principal risks. Launched on March 31, 2026, QBKV operates in the United States and is advised by Allianz Investment Management LLC, a registered investment adviser and wholly owned subsidiary of Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America, which is part of Allianz SE of Munich, Germany; the ETF is distributed by Foreside Fund Services LLC. In April 2026, AllianzIM introduced QBKV as part of an expansion of its buffered ETF platform, launching seven quarterly-reset single-ticker buffered ETFs spanning U.S. large-cap, small-cap, growth, and international-equity reference exposures, as well as an additional international uncapped buffered ETF strategy.
