- Q-Gold Resources Ltd. is a Canadian mineral exploration and development company focused on acquiring, exploring, delineating and advancing gold, silver and related precious-metal assets in North America. The Company’s principal asset is the Quartz Mountain Gold Project in Lake County, Oregon, United States, an advanced-stage, open-pit heap-leach gold development project containing an NI 43-101 mineral resource estimate of approximately 2.01 million indicated gold ounces and 494,000 inferred gold ounces. Its asset portfolio also includes the Mine Centre Gold Project in northwestern Ontario, Canada, encompassing the past-producing Foley Gold Mine, the Golden Star mine area and the McKenzie Gray gold-silver target; and an interest/option in the Surupana Silver Property, covering the historical Surupana silver mining camp in the Puno region of southern Peru. The Company’s activities include mineral-property acquisition; geological mapping, prospecting, sampling, geophysical surveying and diamond drilling; resource estimation and technical studies; metallurgical and mine-development planning; permitting, stakeholder and community engagement; and evaluation of potential production development opportunities. Q-Gold Resources serves precious-metals investors and seeks to develop projects in mining-oriented jurisdictions in the United States and Canada, while retaining exposure to silver exploration in Peru. Incorporated on March 25, 1998 as Solana Petroleum Corp., the Company adopted the Q-Gold Resources Ltd. name in January 2004 and is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Recent strategic developments include the 2025 acquisition of the Quartz Mountain Gold Project from Alamos Gold Inc.; completion of an approximately C$11.5 million private placement financing, with BMO Capital Markets acting as agent; commencement of OTCQB trading under the QGLDF symbol; and initiation of a preliminary economic assessment and permitting work for Quartz Mountain. In 2026, Q-Gold released and subsequently filed the NI 43-101 technical report supporting its maiden Quartz Mountain preliminary economic assessment, expanded its district-scale focus around the Angel’s Camp area, received U.S. Forest Service approval for the Angel’s Camp exploration program, and expanded the Quartz Mountain mineral-claim position to increase the project’s exploration footprint and flexibility for possible future mine infrastructure. The Company also undertook a summer 2026 exploration program at Mine Centre, reported grab samples of up to 600 grams per tonne gold, and advanced multiple vein targets toward a planned diamond-drilling campaign.
