Business
VanEck ETF Trust - VanEck Data Center Supply Chain ETF is a non-diversified, passively managed exchange-traded fund launched on June 2, 2026, and sponsored by Van Eck Associates Corporation, an investment-management firm founded in 1955 and headquartered in New York, New York. Trading on Cboe under the ticker RACK, the fund seeks to track, before fees and expenses, the MarketVector Data Center Supply Chain Index, a rules-based modified float-adjusted market-capitalization-weighted index of U.S.-listed companies involved in the development, buildout and ongoing operation of data centers. The fund provides thematic equity exposure to AI-related physical infrastructure and data-center supply-chain businesses; fabless semiconductor and quantum-computing companies; semiconductor design, memory, storage, networking equipment and server providers; cloud-platform, interconnection-software and data-center owners and operators, including real estate investment trusts; power-management, energy-storage, off-grid generation, electrical-equipment and cable-connectivity suppliers; cooling-system providers; grid-modernization, transmission, substation and transformer businesses; and uranium, nuclear-power-generation, reactor-construction, nuclear-equipment, maintenance and related service providers. Its underlying index generally requires initial constituents to derive at least 50% of revenue from eligible data-center supply-chain activities and is rebalanced quarterly, with exposure organized across Data Center Solutions, Power Bridge, Fabless Semiconductors and Quantum Computing, and Nuclear Energy Producers. Although the strategy invests in U.S.-listed securities, portfolio companies may conduct operations internationally. RACK represents VanEck’s expansion of its thematic ETF platform into AI infrastructure, complementing the firm’s semiconductor, fabless semiconductor and uranium and nuclear-energy strategies; the fund’s principal recent strategic development is its June 2026 launch as a dedicated vehicle targeting suppliers of the chips, power, cooling and grid infrastructure supporting global AI and data-center capacity growth.
