Business
Red Eagle Mining Corporation engages in the exploration and development of mineral properties focused on gold and silver deposits in Canada and Colombia. The company owns 100% interest in the Santa Rosa Gold Project located in Antioquia, Colombia, including the San Ramon Gold Mine; holds 100% interests in the Vetas Gold Project, California Gold Project, and Santa Ana Silver Project, all in Colombia; and targets low-cost, low-technical-risk precious metals projects within the prolific Antioquia Batholith and surrounding regions. Incorporated in 2010 and headquartered at 666 Burrard Street, Suite 2348, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Red Eagle Mining operates primarily in the basic materials sector serving institutional and retail investors interested in emerging gold producers. Recent developments include the 2018 amalgamation with Red Eagle Exploration Limited, through which the company acquired full control of the Vetas Gold, California Gold, and Santa Ana Silver projects to create a diversified exploration and operating portfolio; an agreement to retire its $60 million credit facility with Orion Mine Finance and Liberty Metals & Mining Holdings, LLC; and involvement in an investor-state dispute settlement case against Colombia over the Vetas Project in páramo-protected areas, decided in favor of the state in 2024, alongside a noted partnership context with Batero Gold Corp for Vetas development funding.
