Business
Revlon Consumer Products LLC (NYSE: REV) manufactures and markets a broad portfolio of prestige, mass-market and professional beauty products, including color cosmetics such as lipsticks, lip glosses and foundations; nail enamels and care products; hair colorants and styling aids under brands like Revlon ColorSilk and Revlon Professional; skincare; beauty tools; men's grooming products via American Crew; antiperspirant deodorants including Mitchum; and fragrances encompassing designer, heritage and celebrity lines such as Elizabeth Arden, Elizabeth Taylor, Juicy Couture, Curve, John Varvatos and Christina Aguilera; as well as Almay hypoallergenic cosmetics and Cutex nail products. The company, founded in 1932 by brothers Charles and Joseph Revson and chemist Charles Lachman and headquartered in New York City, operates globally with sales in approximately 150 countries through mass, salon, prestige and direct-to-consumer retail channels. Revlon ranks among the top 20 global beauty companies, bolstered by its 2016 acquisition of the Elizabeth Arden portfolio that expanded its fragrance and celebrity brand offerings. In recent developments, Revlon entered a five-year $350 million senior secured revolving credit facility with Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group in 2024 to support debt refinancing, working capital and strategic priorities; renewed its global fragrance license with Authentic Brands Group for Juicy Couture, including plans for new product launches; and appointed Michelle Peluso as CEO in October 2024 to drive the next phase of growth following its emergence from Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2023, which eliminated over $2.7 billion in debt.
