RHB Bank Berhad is a Malaysian-based financial services group providing a comprehensive range of banking and financial products and services primarily in the ASEAN region. Founded in 1999 and headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, the bank operates through six main segments: Corporate Banking, Retail Banking, Business Banking, Group Treasury, Group International Business, and Others including nominee services and property investments. Its core offerings include conventional and Shariah-compliant consumer banking solutions, SME financing and business banking, wealth management, bancassurance, mortgages, auto and personal financing, credit cards, payments and deposits, as well as treasury products such as foreign exchange, derivatives, capital markets, and structured products. The bank also provides asset management, investment advisory, private mandates, and trustee services, catering to a broad range of corporate, institutional, retail, and high net worth clients across Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Brunei, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Myanmar. In the last 1-2 years, RHB Bank Berhad has executed several strategic initiatives including the enhancement of its SME e-Solutions, becoming the first Malaysian bank to offer direct API connectivity with third-party business solutions for value-added features such as point-of-sale terminals, payroll and accounting, and cash management on a single platform. The bank reported record-high quarterly profits driven by growth in net fund-based income and non-fund based income as well as improved operational efficiency and sustainable finance initiatives under its Together We Progress 2024 corporate strategy. Additionally, RHB continues to leverage digital innovation and sustainable finance to drive growth and maintain leadership in SME financial supply chain products. The group maintains a strong regional presence with over 14,000 employees across nine ASEAN markets and a commitment to expanding operational and business capabilities aligned with evolving market demands. RHB Bank Berhad is part of the larger RHB Banking Group, which includes key subsidiaries such as RHB Investment Bank Berhad, RHB Islamic Bank Berhad, RHB Insurance Berhad, and RHB Asset Management Sdn Bhd, offering integrated financial services across retail, commercial, corporate, investment, Islamic banking, insurance, asset management, private equity, and stockbroking. The bank is publicly listed on Bursa Malaysia and continues to prioritize digital transformation, customer-centric innovations, and cross-border regional expansion within the ASEAN economic landscape. The latest corporate strategy aims for sustained income growth, enhanced cost efficiency, and stronger returns on equity focused through broad-based financial solutions serving SMEs, corporates, and individual clients.
