- Russell Investments Exchange Traded Funds – Russell Investments Global Infrastructure ETF (NYSE Arca: RIFR) is an actively managed U.S.-domiciled exchange-traded fund that seeks long-term capital growth and current income through a globally diversified portfolio of infrastructure-related equity securities. The fund invests in companies that own, develop, operate, finance or service essential infrastructure assets and networks, including transportation infrastructure such as airports, ports, railways, toll roads and logistics facilities; utilities and regulated networks, including electricity, gas, water and wastewater systems; communications infrastructure, including telecommunications towers, fiber networks and data-related assets; energy infrastructure; and other publicly traded infrastructure businesses. RIFR employs Russell Investments’ open-architecture, multi-manager investment process, combining complementary security-selection strategies and specialist managers within a single actively managed portfolio rather than seeking to replicate an index. The fund is intended for individual investors, financial advisors and institutional investors seeking global infrastructure equity exposure through an ETF structure. Shares are issued and redeemed at net asset value in creation-unit blocks and otherwise trade on the secondary market; Foreside Fund Services, LLC distributes the fund. RIFR was launched on May 13, 2025, and is managed within the Russell Investments Exchange Traded Funds platform, which is associated with Russell Investments Group, LLC, a Seattle, Washington-headquartered global investment-solutions provider founded in 1936. Russell Investments serves institutional investors, financial intermediaries and individual investors across 31 countries and operates through offices in 17 cities. The Russell Investments group is majority owned by funds managed by TA Associates Management, L.P.; funds managed by Reverence Capital Partners, L.P., as well as certain employees and Hamilton Lane Advisors, LLC, hold minority, non-controlling ownership interests. In a significant recent operating change, the fund was renamed from the Russell Investments Global Infrastructure Active ETF to the Russell Investments Global Infrastructure ETF effective October 1, 2025. In July 2026, Russell Investments expanded its actively managed, multi-manager ETF platform with the launches of the Russell Investments Global Real Estate ETF and Russell Investments Core Plus Bond ETF, positioning RIFR as one of the firm’s original five ETFs launched in 2025 and broadening the platform’s equity, infrastructure, real estate and fixed-income offerings.
