Business
Resouro Strategic Metals Inc. is a Canadian-based mineral exploration and development company focused on the acquisition, exploration and advancement of critical-mineral and gold properties in Brazil. The Company’s principal asset is its 90%-owned Tiros Titanium and Rare Earth Elements Project in northern Minas Gerais, held through Brazilian subsidiary Tiros Minerais Estratégicos Mineração Ltda.; Tiros comprises multiple exploration permits over approximately 500 square kilometres and hosts titanium dioxide, total rare earth oxides and magnetic rare earth oxides mineralization. Resouro is advancing metallurgical test work, engineering, environmental assessment, permitting and development studies for Tiros, with the project designed to potentially supply rare earth products for permanent magnets and other technology applications, as well as titanium dioxide for pigment and industrial markets. The Company also owns the Novo Mundo gold project in Brazil through Ison do Brasil Mineração Ltda., comprising three contiguous licences covering approximately 16,734.94 hectares. Resouro completed a preliminary economic assessment for a staged starter operation at Tiros in June 2026 and filed an independent NI 43-101 technical report in July 2026. The proposed initial operation contemplates processing approximately 500,000 tonnes per year of high-grade run-of-mine material over an initial 20-year mine life. Recent strategic and operational initiatives include metallurgical collaboration with Altilium Group, appointment of Progesys International as project engineering manager, engagement of Sete Soluções e Tecnologia Ambiental for environmental-impact assessment work, and initiatives involving Invest Minas and Brazilian development-funding agencies BNDES and Finep to support project advancement. Resouro Strategic Metals Inc., formerly Resouro Gold Inc., changed its name in October 2023 and is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, with operations and project offices in Brazil and corporate presences in Australia and Singapore.
