Invesco S&P 500® Equal Weight Energy ETF (RSPG) is an exchange-traded fund that seeks to track the performance, before fees and expenses, of the S&P 500® Equal Weight Energy Plus Index. The fund generally invests at least 90% of its total assets in securities comprising the underlying index, which equally weights stocks from the energy sector of the S&P 500® Index; this sector encompasses companies involved in the exploration and production of oil and gas, refining and marketing, storage and transportation of oil, gas, coal and consumable fuels, as well as providers of oil and gas equipment and services. As of September 30, 2025, the fund holds approximately 22 securities, with top holdings including Expand Energy (4.89%), Halliburton (4.84%), Williams Companies (4.79%), Valero Energy (4.77%) and EQT (4.73%), and maintains a total expense ratio of 0.40%, a 30-day SEC yield of 2.63% and assets under management exceeding $420 million. RSPG, issued and managed by Invesco Ltd., an independent global investment management firm founded in 1935 and headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, was launched on November 1, 2006, and is listed on NYSE Arca. The fund is passively managed, rebalanced quarterly to maintain equal weighting, and provides exposure primarily to U.S.-based energy companies (100% geographic allocation), with sector breakdowns of 86.33% in oil, gas and consumable fuels and 13.67% in energy equipment and services. It targets investors seeking diversified, less concentration-heavy exposure to the U.S. energy sector compared to market-cap weighted benchmarks like the S&P 500 Energy Index. In June 2023, Invesco implemented a ticker change for RSPG from its prior symbol RYE as part of a broader rebranding initiative for its suite of 11 equal-weight sector ETFs—collectively managing $7.5 billion—to align them with the flagship Invesco S&P 500® Equal Weight ETF (RSP), enhancing recognizability and ease of use for advisors constructing sector-overweight portfolios. The fund's underlying index transitioned to the S&P 500 Equal Weight Energy Plus Index effective March 18, 2022, from the original S&P 500 Equal Weight Energy Index, with blended performance history reflecting this continuity. No recent partnerships, acquisitions, funding rounds or new product launches specific to RSPG have been reported in the last 1-2 years.
