The company operates in the Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Kyrgyz Republic and Australia, and was founded in 2012 and is headquartered in Subiaco, Australia. In March 2025, Mt. Labo, in which RTG Mining holds its 40% interest, entered a strategic partnership with Glencore International, securing up to $30 million in financing across three tranches for stage one development of the Mabilo Project, together with offtake agreements covering 100% of stage one products; the company also advanced its interest in the Panguna Project through a joint venture agreement with the Special Mining Lease Osikaiyang Landowners Association and increased its stake in Central Exploration Pty Ltd to nearly 70% via investments and loan conversions; additionally, RTG Mining entered a sale and purchase agreement with White Cliff Minerals Limited to acquire a 90% interest in the Chanach Project.
