Invesco S&P 500 Equal Weight Materials ETF (RTM) is an exchange-traded fund that seeks to track the investment results, before fees and expenses, of the S&P 500 Equal Weight Materials Index. The fund invests at least 90% of its total assets in common stocks that comprise the index, which equally weights stocks in the materials sector of the S&P 500 Index; the fund and index are rebalanced quarterly to maintain equal weighting across approximately 30 holdings, including companies in process industries, non-energy minerals, and consumer non-durables. It offers investors diversified exposure to U.S. large-cap materials companies, with a net expense ratio of 0.40%, a dividend yield around 10.86%, and assets under management of approximately $320 million. Launched on November 1, 2006, and managed by Invesco Capital Management LLC in Atlanta, Georgia, the ETF primarily serves institutional and retail investors targeting the basic materials sector in North America, with all holdings domiciled in the United States. No major strategic changes, such as partnerships, acquisitions, funding rounds, new product launches, or reorganizations, have been reported for RTM in the last 1-2 years; the fund continues to operate under its longstanding structure with quarterly rebalancing as its primary activity.
