- RTG Mining Inc. (TSX:RTG, ASX:RTG, OTC:RTTGF) is a mining and exploration company focused on the discovery, development and operation of high-grade gold and copper projects, primarily in the Asia-Pacific region. The company explores and develops mineral properties including copper and gold deposits; its principal asset is the high-grade Mabilo copper-gold project in Camarines Norte Province, Eastern Luzon, Philippines, in which it holds a 40% interest through associate Mt. Labo Exploration and Development Corporation, together with a 2% net smelter royalty and a loan of approximately US$27 million repayable from Stage 1 direct shipping operations; additional projects include Bunawan, Nalesbitan, and early-stage opportunities at Bahayan, Mawab and Taguibo in the Philippines, as well as a proposal for the Panguna copper-gold project in Bougainville, Papua New Guinea. Incorporated in 2012 and domiciled in the British Virgin Islands, RTG Mining is headquartered at 516 Hay Street, Subiaco, Australia. In March 2025, through Mt. Labo, the company entered a strategic partnership with Glencore International AG, securing up to US$47 million in financing across three tranches—including an initial US$5.5 million for Stage 1 land acquisition—to fully fund development of the Mabilo project alongside offtake rights, advancing permitting and positioning for commitment to production in early 2026; earlier in 2025, RTG completed a private placement raising approximately A$15.3 million in Tranche 2 to support project progression. RTG targets institutional investors and operates across the Philippines and Papua New Guinea, with minor historical exploration assets in Africa, supported by a management team experienced in developing seven mines across five countries.
