In its most significant recent development, Suncrest Bank was acquired by Citizens Business Bank, a subsidiary of CVB Financial Corp., in a $237 million stock-and-cash transaction completed on January 7, 2022, expanding Citizens' footprint in the Central Valley and Sacramento area while integrating Suncrest's $1.4 billion in assets, $0.8 billion in net loans, and $1.2 billion in deposits as of December 31, 2021.
