Business
Secoo Holding Limited (SECOY) operates an integrated online and offline platform offering upscale luxury products and lifestyle services primarily in China, Hong Kong, and select international markets. Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Beijing, China, the company retails a wide array of authentic luxury goods including handbags, watches, clothing, footwear, jewelry and accessories, cosmetics and skincare, home accessories, sportswear, fine food and beverages, arts, 3C electronic devices, Chinese original products, oral care, perfume, outdoor sports goods, house decor, cleaning supplies, home appliances, kitchen equipment, and computer peripherals; it also provides marketplace services to third-party merchants and offline experience centers for product curation, authentication, pick-up, returns, and maintenance. Secoo targets high-end consumers through its website, mobile applications, and physical stores, emphasizing product authenticity via proprietary appraisal processes. Recent developments include delisting from Nasdaq in April 2024 following suspension due to noncompliance with listing rules and delinquent filings, with its American Depositary Receipts now trading on the OTC Expert Market; a strategic cooperation agreement in September 2022 with Aladdin Technology Group, involving up to 1.3 billion RMB to support global innovation and development; and earlier partnerships such as a 2020 investment and alliance with Qudian Inc. for up to $100 million to enhance supply chain, user acquisition, and financing solutions.
