- Sendero Resources Corp. is a Canada-based junior mineral exploration company focused on the acquisition, exploration and advancement of copper-gold, gold-silver and related porphyry-epithermal mineral targets in Argentina’s Vicuña Belt. The Company’s principal asset is the Peñas Negras Project in La Rioja Province, Argentina, a 211.77-square-kilometre exploration land package comprising approximately 120 square kilometres of wholly owned mining concessions held through its subsidiary, Barton SAS, and an option to earn an 80% interest in eight adjacent granted concessions covering approximately 91.7 square kilometres. Peñas Negras is prospective for copper-gold porphyry systems, high-sulfidation epithermal gold-silver mineralization, porphyry-related breccias, veins and lithocap-hosted mineralization; Sendero conducts geological mapping, rock and soil geochemistry, geophysical surveys, target generation, diamond drilling and resource-discovery exploration across the property. The project is situated near major copper-gold discoveries and development projects in the Vicuña District, including the Josemaría and Filo del Sol systems, and has logistical access through northern Chile, including the deep-water port of Caldera. Sendero serves the mineral exploration and mining-development market and does not currently operate a producing mine. The Company is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Recent developments include completion of a C$4.07 million brokered private placement in December 2025 and a C$2.0 million institutional equity private placement in January 2026, with proceeds allocated principally to drilling, exploration and working capital for Peñas Negras; receipt of updated permits for the project in January 2026; listing of its common shares on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in February 2026; and completion of a 2026 reconnaissance exploration program comprising three diamond drillholes totaling 396.3 metres and 453 rock samples. The program confirmed near-surface gold and silver mineralization and a hydrothermal system, including 1.04 grams per tonne gold over 1.5 metres and 48 grams per tonne silver over 1.5 metres in hole PNDH-201, and identified additional geochemical targets for follow-up drilling. In September 2026, Sendero appointed Jeremy Gillis as interim chief executive officer, replacing Alex Gostevskikh, who remains a director and consultant, as the Company prepares a funded 2026-2027 diamond-drilling campaign at Peñas Negras.
