Global X Asia Semiconductor ETF Units Thailand Depository Receipt Repr 0.01 Sh is an exchange-traded depositary receipt listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand that provides investors with fractional economic exposure to the Global X Asia Semiconductor ETF. The underlying exchange-traded fund seeks to track the performance of the FactSet Asia Semiconductor Index, investing in leading companies involved in the research, development, manufacturing, and distribution of semiconductors across the Asia-Pacific region, including Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, and Mainland China. The instrument offers systematic access to core semiconductor business segments, comprising pure-play semiconductor foundry services; integrated device manufacturing (IDM); fabless semiconductor design and intellectual property architecture; outsourced semiconductor assembly, packaging, and test (OSAT) services; and semiconductor manufacturing equipment and specialized electronic materials. Core constituent holdings include major industry participants such as Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited (TSMC), Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., SK Hynix Inc., Tokyo Electron Limited, and MediaTek Inc. The depositary receipt is traded and settled in Thai Baht under the regulatory framework of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand, with administrative and custody operations based in Bangkok, Thailand. The underlying fund is managed by Mirae Asset Global Investments (Hong Kong) Limited, which was established in 2003 as an asset management subsidiary of South Korea-based Mirae Asset Financial Group. Recent strategic developments include the continuous listing and expansion of depositary receipts on the Stock Exchange of Thailand to broaden cross-border equity access for domestic retail and institutional market participants; systematic portfolio rebalancings to reflect technological shifts toward artificial intelligence accelerators, high-bandwidth memory (HBM), and advanced node fabrication; enhanced market-making partnerships to bolster secondary market liquidity and minimize tracking divergence; and ongoing product integration to meet growing investor demand for targeted international technology investments.
