Business
DCVFMVN DIAMOND ETF Units Thailand Depository Receipt Repr 1 unit (SET: FUEVFVND01) is a cross-border exchange-traded depositary receipt issued and administered by Bualuang Securities Public Company Limited, designed to provide investors with synthetic, Thai Baht-denominated exposure to the DCVFMVN DIAMOND ETF listed on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange on a one-to-one conversion ratio. Operating within the financial services and asset management sector, the instrument caters to retail, high-net-worth, and institutional investors across Thailand and Southeast Asia seeking diversified equity participation in Vietnam without the requirement of onshore foreign trading accounts, foreign currency conversion, or the payment of foreign room ownership premiums. The depositary receipt delivers core financial products and investment capabilities structured through: cross-border depositary receipt issuance backed by underlying holdings of the DCVFMVN DIAMOND ETF; direct index-tracking exposure to the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange-administered VN Diamond Index, encompassing prominent foreign ownership limit-constrained blue chips such as FPT Corporation in information technology, Mobile World Investment Corporation in retail, and commercial banking leaders including Techcombank, VPBank, MBBank, and ACB; foreign ownership limit workaround functionality that permits foreign capital allocation into fully owned Vietnamese corporations; continuous two-way liquidity provision and market making on the Stock Exchange of Thailand; intraday indicative net asset value tracking tools; and localized custody, clearing, and corporate action distribution services. Bualuang Securities Public Company Limited, a securities brokerage subsidiary of Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited, was established in 2001 and is headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand, while the underlying ETF is managed by Dragon Capital Vietfund Management JSC, based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. In recent developments over the past one to two years, Bualuang Securities has expanded its cross-border depositary receipt ecosystem through enhanced digital market-making algorithms and integrated real-time pricing calculators; adapted portfolio tracking to HOSE-mandated semi-annual VN Diamond Index rebalancings that adjusted constituent weighting caps, foreign room thresholds, and liquidity metrics across primary holdings; and widened investor accessibility by integrating the receipt into fractional trading services and digital brokerage platforms to capture rising retail demand for emerging market equities.
