Premia China STAR50 ETF Units Thailand Depository Receipt Repr 1 Sh (SET: STAR5001) is an exchange-traded depositary receipt issued by Bualuang Securities Public Company Limited and listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. The instrument represents fractional beneficial interest in the Premia China STAR50 ETF, an offshore exchange-traded fund listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong and managed by Premia Partners Company Limited, maintaining a depositary receipt conversion ratio of one depositary receipt to one underlying exchange-traded fund unit. The primary financial service of the depositary receipt is providing Thai retail, high-net-worth, and institutional investors with direct, local-currency exposure to leading innovative enterprises listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange Science and Technology Innovation Board (STAR Market). Its underlying asset portfolio comprises fifty leading Chinese technology and innovation companies operating across core thematic sectors, including semiconductor manufacturing and integrated circuit design; enterprise software, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing; renewable energy equipment, photovoltaic cells, and green infrastructure; biotechnology, biopharmaceuticals, and advanced medical devices; new advanced materials and specialty chemical manufacturing; and high-end industrial robotics and aerospace machinery. The depositary receipt facilitates cross-border investment through systematic services including Thai Baht-denominated secondary market trading; foreign currency clearing and settlement administration; underlying corporate action and dividend pass-through processing; and centralized asset custody via the Thailand Securities Depository. The issuing entity, Bualuang Securities Public Company Limited, was founded in 2001 and is headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand, operating as the principal investment banking and securities brokerage subsidiary of Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited, while the underlying fund manager, Premia Partners Company Limited, was founded in 2016 and is headquartered in Central, Hong Kong. In recent developments, Bualuang Securities has expanded its cross-border depositary receipt ecosystem and upgraded dedicated market-making algorithms on the Stock Exchange of Thailand to ensure tighter bid-ask spreads and enhanced secondary trading liquidity. Concurrently, the underlying SSE STAR 50 Index has executed systematic constituent rebalancing to capture rapidly scaling domestic leaders in artificial intelligence hardware and advanced semiconductor fabrication, while Bualuang Securities has instituted enhanced monthly disclosure frameworks on the Stock Exchange of Thailand detailing underlying fund holdings, net asset value parity, and foreign custody verification.
