Business
YHI International Limited is a Singapore-based investment holding company founded in 1948 that operates as a leading global distributor and manufacturer of premium automotive and industrial products. Its core business comprises three main segments: Manufacturing, Distribution, and Rental. The company designs, develops, manufactures, advertises, and sells alloy wheels under its own brands and through partnerships with established brands such as Enkei, OZ, and Konig. In distribution, YHI offers a diverse range of automotive products including tires from leading brands like Yokohama, Nitto, and Pirelli; alloy wheels; automotive batteries; buggies and utility vehicles; rechargeable batteries for commercial and industrial use; and industrial products such as lubricants, solar panels, chargers, inverters, and uninterruptible power supply systems under trusted names like Trojan and CSB. Beyond products, YHI also engages in rental of investment properties and provides consultancy, marketing, and technology-related services. Its products and services are distributed internationally, with an operational footprint spanning over 100 countries through 33 subsidiaries and 3 associated companies, primarily across Asia Pacific, North America, and Europe. Recent major developments include YHI's strategic move to strengthen its distribution network and sharpen its sales focus to promote and develop its portfolio of premium and proprietary brands globally. The company reported an acquisition of Wheelworld GmbH, which has contributed to significant sales growth and improved its gross profit margin through better product pricing and mix. In 2025, YHI also entered a joint venture with a Myanmar firm to market car and industrial products, reflecting an expansion in its geographic outreach and partnerships. Operationally, YHI is embracing sustainability and innovation as core elements of its business strategy, as articulated in its FY2024 Sustainability Report, focusing on economic performance, anti-corruption, and anti-competitive practices to ensure long-term value creation. The company continues to leverage proprietary manufacturing technologies such as Dynamic Spinning Technology (DST) for alloy wheels to enhance product strength, performance, and cost efficiency, thereby maintaining competitive advantage in the aftermarket segment. Headquartered in Singapore, YHI International Limited remains committed to providing high-quality automotive and industrial products and services to over 5,000 customers worldwide with a view to expanding its global market presence and operational excellence.
